Holidays in Russia. Hot North and cold South.

There is only one month of summer to enjoy. Where to choose the best place for your holidays? As you know Russia is the biggest country in the world which is rich of the nature and fascinating areas. In July I was lucky to visit the Southern part of my country the coast of Black Sea. I was sent by my university and had fun with my friends. The nature of this area is so different from Karelia where I live. Tropical forest looks amazing and warm Black Sea welcomes you in its arms.

However, the middle of July isn’t the best time for having holidays in that area because of the heat. The temperature hit all records and reached nearly 37c. Even at the time of early morning was extremely warm and stuffy.  It was so unusual  because I wasn’t used to such high temperature.What the students were doing at their holidays? Well, we woke up early morning nearly at 7:30 and went for swimming. The water was still cold and fresh. After swimming we did gym in order to get fit. At 9:30 we had breakfast. The meal was tasty and square. The place where we had holidays was sanatorium. We could book benefits such as massage or light therapy any service fitting every taste. The time of lunch is the hottest and  better stay at home or you can get sunstroke. At this time usually we were reading or just relaxing somewhere in the cool place.

Our sanatorium was situated near village Nebug. It was pretty place where you can find Aqua park, dolphinarium, luna park and all extreme entertainments. You can also find different gifts such as crockery, jewelers  etc.  Night clubs of Nebug are open night after night. But be careful everything is quite expensive there! You can also buy interesting tours even to Sochi where is Olympics of 2014 is carried out. We took horse riding to the watrefalls. Horses were so sweet and cute, but sometimes it was a bit scaring.

On the one hand it’s pretty place where the Sun shines every day and sea water is always warm. But there is another hand. The people are so different there. They seemed to me not friendly and hospitable. Sometimes I was shocked by rude attitude. Returning home was so sweet especially after this journey. Never mind how exciting was South our North is so warm and friendly.

And one more moment is  better coming by plane there cause the long distance and heat.  In any way you don’t regret traveling to that wonderful place.
