This weekend we met guests willing to learn foreign languages (English, Finnish, German, Italian, Spanish…) in Petrozavodsk, to accommodate foreign students in families, to study abroad… 

Everybody had a chance to get acquainted with our Centre “Initiative” and our Russian Language School “Enjoy Russian”! Language workshops and interesting presentations about our programs, playing games in English with Jared Leets (our student from USA) and tasting traditional finish gingerbreads with Darja, our teacher of Finnish.

From the other hand Students from USA, Poland and Belgium finished their courses of Russian and left our School! Jared stayed with us during 1,5 months and now he speaks perfectly Russian) 3rd Certificate level! Patrycja, Vanessa and Claudia had a chance to visit a concert of traditional Karelian Ensemble while their stay in Petrozavodsk!

Intensive Russian Language course has begun today for our new students Patrycja from Poland, Vanessa and Christine from Belgium! Students will have effective Russian lessons in a mini group and then they will be accompanied by Russian volunteers during different interesting excursions and sightseeing.

Last Friday we gathered together with Russian volunteers to discuss the previous season! We came to the conclusion that the season came way for our School! That’s for sure! Volunteers did their best to make our students feel comfortable and safe in Petrozavodsk! Some of them continue their friendship even now living millions of kilometers away from each other)

In summer 2014 the International Russian / English Language Camp took place. At the first half of the day guys were busy with engrossing lessons. After lessons teens united in one friendly company and had a lot to do in terms of cultural program! Playing basketball, creating video film on topic “Stereotypes on different nations”, visiting Kizhi-island… Exciting events for every taste and wish!

New office! new mood!
Nowadays we are doing our best that our new house meet every our student in comfortable atmosphere! 

If office is already furnished and well equipped with all design elements, classes furnishings is still in progress! But anyway large windows, light large rooms – everything is done for our dear clients!
This week our students from Germany leave our school! During two weeks Hauke, Robert and Heinz made a great progress! Their teachers are very content! … Now students speak, understand and feel Russian!

 

 

 We wait for new students of course) summer comes and the hot season also does! We wait for more than 20 students in June, 30 in July and August!
