Twice a month you’ll get acquainted to one of our famous and favourite Russian films and take a step closer to understanding the mystery of “Russian soul”.

In September “RUSSIAN MOVIE CLUB” will start working in our school! Students will be watching movie segments with Russian language teacher and discuss it.

*SOVIET films were made within the period of the Soviet Union (СССР/USSR). Mostly black-and-white films. They are still very popular among Russians because of their sincerity, kindness, heartfulness, humor and good ideas. We know these films by heart, we use phrases and jokes from the films in our everyday life, but we watch them again and again.

*MODERN films were made after 1991. They have very different topics, problems and humor. While watching these films you’ll see the modern architecture of the cities and listen to the contemporary Russian language.

*CARTOONS based on our history and folklore, very colorful, humor and instructive.
