Today I want to continue telling you about our “Enjoy Russian” Language School teachers. Last time I told you about Evgenia Laverucheva, and now I’m happy to introduce you to the most patient teacher in the world – Olga Yartseva.

She’s been working at “Enjoy Russian” language school for 8 years already. She loves teaching the Russian language to foreigners, because it’s an amazing opportunity to meet interesting people from all over the world, introduce Russian culture and traditions to them, help them learn Russian as a foreign language.

Olga works with the groups of foreign students of all levels, but she is especially awesome in teaching 0 level students. She is extremely patient and calm. She can always explain things, even to someone who’s never learned any foreign languages before. She uses interesting modern teaching methods and techniques and all the students say that the Russian language is just a piece of cake if you learn it with Olga.

The best way to learn new words is to make yourself remember all the time those words and phrases you want to learn! Just write down about 10 new words/phrases and put the piece of paper in your pocket. In an hour try to remember all the words from the list, but don’t look at it. If you can’t do it, take the list and read it. In an hour repeat it again! This is great practice for your memory!

"Russian grammar seems to be the worst thing in the world? Sure, it is not easy, but you can manage with it! If you want to master declension of nouns and adjectives, conjugation of verbs, participle etc, just do as many written exercise as you can! It can be boring, but it is very effective! After doing that you'll feel more confident using them in your speech!"

"If you want to speak Russian like a native speaker, without an accent, watch Russian movies and try to imitate the actors' speech! Just pause the video after each phrase and repeat it!"

There are many ways to learn foreign languages. Some of them are considered as the only possible methods to succeed. What can I say? Don’t be afraid and choose those learning styles which suit you best! Find it out and enjoy your learning even if nobody approves them. There is a good proverb in Russia «На вкус и цвет товарища нет» (Every man to his taste).
