In Petrozavodsk you may easily take a walk through a forest to relax , listen to the birds , or have a picnic, and you don’t even have to leave the city! 

Last weekend EnjoyRussian team spent splendid time together. We had a picnic in the Kurgan spot where you can get on foot or by bus from any part of Petrozavodsk. Here are some pictures from the holiday 

In March it’s still winter in Karelia  although it’s sunny from the early morning ! In the Kurgan area you may rent ski and snowboard equipment, try snow tubing and sledding or just have a pleasant walk and make beautiful pictures.
